GROOMING POLICIES


Thanks for selecting Bubbly Paws for your dogs grooming needs. Below are some policies we would like to make you aware of:

  • A credit card number is required to hold all grooming and full service bath appointments. This card is stored on secure servers (authorize.net) and the full number is not available to any of the members of the bubbly paws team or management. This card cannot be accessed at checkout to pay for the appointment.

  • Bubbly Paws is a cash free store. All payments must be made by credit or debit card. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash App.

  • Appointments need to be cancelled 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full price of the service.

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, we would consider it a no-show and you could be charged the full amount for the service that was scheduled. If you are running late, please text/call the store and see if something can be worked out.

We require all dogs to be current on their rabies shot. Please have your vet fax/email us a copy of the records or bring a copy when you drop off. If you forget a copy, we will attempt to call your vet and verify your dog is up to date. If your dogs shot has expired or if we are unable to get ahold of your vet, we will be unable to groom your dog and you will be charged for the full service. If your dog’s rabies shot has expired by more than 2 months, we will need to wait 10 days from when it was given before they can come for grooming. We do accept a titer test as proof of rabies. Rabies tags on a dogs collar are not acceptable as proof of rabies, we need the see the records from the vet office.

Quoting a price of a groom can be very hard since there are many different factors that go into this process. Once our groomers start working on your dog, we might notice things we were not aware of and there could be an extra charge. The most common reason a price goes up is because of matting. Our matting charges range from $5-$40 based on how serious it is. We will always try to point out any extra charges when you drop off but sometimes we don't catch it until we start the grooming and will do our best to notify you.  

We work hard to provide a low stress setting but if your dog becomes aggressive or stressed out, we will stop the grooming and you would only be charged the full price of the grooming.    

Because of limited space, all dogs must be picked up at least 30 minutes after we inform you that your dog is completed with grooming. If you are unable to come pick up your dog within the hour, we do charge a fee. 

We are not equipped to deal with dogs that have fleas. If we notice this while bathing or grooming, we will call for you to pick up the dog. You would be charged for the work that was completed, or a minimum of $25 and a fee for "flea cleanup" that starts at $30.  

If we notice a tick on your dog while grooming, we will attempt to safely remove it and inform you at pick up.
